Flexible re engagement period of 2-5 years until the permissible age of compulsory retirement may be availed by eligible sailors during re engagement occasions such as on EES publication, course, deputation, promotion etc. Such re engagement can be availed till maximum permissible service in rank/superannuation age, which ever is earlier. Notwithstanding, re engagement policies iro sailors in LMC and sailors awarded Warrant punishment/rendered unwillingness for professional promotion related courses will be iaw existing regulations as specified in NO(STR) 01/2019
